Ticket Terms and Conditions.
Thank you for purchasing a ticket to A Taste of The Hills Festival.
By purchasing or holding a ticket, you agree to comply with the following Ticket Terms and Conditions. These terms ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-managed event for all attendees.
Please read carefully before attending.
1. Acceptance of Ticket Terms
By purchasing a ticket, receiving a transferred ticket, or entering the festival, you agree to these Ticket Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not purchase a ticket or attend the event.
A Taste of The Hills Festival reserves the right to cancel or refuse entry to any ticket that breaches these terms.
2. Ticket Types, Pricing & Age Requirements
2.1 Ticket Types
Ticket categories may include (but are not limited to):
General Admission
Youth Tickets (under 18)
Children (under 12 – free)
Masterclass Tickets
Shuttle Bus Tickets
Any additional ticketed experiences
All General Admission tickets include a tasting tumbler and complimentary tastings from participating stallholders.
2.2 Age Restrictions
A Taste of The Hills Festival is an all-ages event.
Children under 12 are admitted free and must be accompanied by an adult.
Youth under 18 must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
Identification may be required for all patrons aged 18+ to purchase or consume alcohol.
A valid Australian driver’s licence, Proof of Age card, or passport will be accepted.
3. Ticket Delivery & Entry Requirements
3.1 Electronic Tickets
Tickets will be emailed to the purchaser after payment is successfully processed.
Tickets may be presented on a mobile device or printed.
If you have not received your ticket, contact admin@atasteofthehills.com.au.
3.2 Ticket Verification
All tickets must match the full name provided at purchase or transfer.
Security may request ID to verify a ticket if needed.
4. Refunds, Exchanges & Ticket Transfers
4.1 Refunds
Refunds are available up to 14 days before the festival.
No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the event except as required under Australian Consumer Law or in the event of cancellation.
Incorrect purchases, change of mind or inability to attend after this period are not grounds for refund.
4.2 Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another person at any time before the event.
The ticket holder is responsible for updating details via Humanitix or by contacting the festival team at admin@atasteofthehills.com.au.
5. Resale, Scalping & Unauthorised Vendors
Tickets must not be resold at a premium, listed on unauthorised resale websites, or used for competitions, giveaways, promotions or commercial use without written permission.
Tickets found to be resold in breach of these conditions may be cancelled without refund.
Only purchase tickets from our official ticketing provider (Humanitix). Tickets purchased elsewhere may be invalid.
6. Event Changes
The festival organisers reserve the right to:
Change event programming, vendors, artists, inclusions or schedules;
Adjust event times, layout or offerings;
Substitute or modify masterclasses, experiences or advertised content.
Changes will not constitute grounds for refunds.
7. Event Cancellation or Postponement
7.1 Cancellation
If the event is cancelled, ticket holders will be contacted via email with refund and/or rollover options.
7.2 Postponement
If the event is postponed, tickets will automatically transfer to the new date. Refund options will be communicated in line with consumer law.
8. Conditions of Entry
By attending the festival, you agree to comply with all conditions of entry, including (but not limited to):
Bag checks, pram checks and security screening
Behaviour guidelines and responsible alcohol consumption
Directions from festival staff and security
Compliance with any temporary safety measures (e.g., weather-related instructions)
Individuals may be removed from the event for unsafe, intoxicated, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour without refund.
9. Photography & Videography
By attending the festival, you acknowledge and agree that:
The festival may photograph, film or record attendees for promotional, marketing and archival purposes.
You grant A Taste of The Hills Festival full rights to use, edit and publish this content without compensation.
Attendees who prefer not to be photographed must notify the festival organiser at admin@atasteofthehills.com.au prior to the event.
By tagging the festival or using event hashtags, you grant permission for the festival to repost or share your content.
10. Liability, Risk & Indemnity
10.1 Assumption of Risk
By attending the festival, attendees accept all risks associated with outdoor events, including (but not limited to):
Weather conditions
Uneven surfaces
Noise, crowds and physical activity
Consumption of food and beverages
Participation in masterclasses or optional experiences
10.2 Limitation of Liability
The festival, organisers, volunteers, vendors, service providers, staff and partners are not liable for:
Injuries, illnesses or accidents
Lost, stolen or damaged personal property
Dissatisfaction with any aspect of the festival
10.3 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A Taste of The Hills Festival, its staff, volunteers, vendors, service providers and partners from any claims arising from your attendance.
11. Force Majeure
The festival is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events outside our control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or emergencies.
12. Governing Law
These Ticket Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia.
Any disputes will be resolved in a South Australian court.
13. Amendments
A Taste of The Hills Festival may update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
